Welcome to Continental Virtual Airlines ! Continental Airlines is the world's fifth largest airline. Continental, together with Continental Express and Continental Connection, has more than 2,750 daily departures throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia, serving 133 domestic and 132 international destinations. More than 750 additional points are served through our alliance partners. With more than 43,000 employees, Continental has hubs serving New York, Houston, Cleveland , and together with its regional partners, carries approximately 67 million passengers per year. Continental Virtual Airlines recreates the real world operations of Continental Airlines using Flight Simulator 2004, FSX, and X-Plane. Our hubs are based in Newark (KEWR), Houston (KIAH) and Cleveland (KCLE). If you are interested in starting your virtual career with Continental Virtual Airlines, and your atleast 13 years of age, please fill out an application. We use a fully simulated system to re-create all real world Continental Airlines schedules and passenger demands. Therefore, Continental Virtual is has been accepted as part of the SimMiles Star Alliance network in an effort to enhance realism, and free out pilots to fly anywhere in the world! Continental Virtual Airlines offers other programs such as TeamSpeak2 for its members, a community forum, and weekly scheduled VATSIM events. Continental Virtual Airlines Philosophy
Continental Virtual Airlines is a simulated Virtual Airline for Flight Simulator enthusiasts who are fans of the real world Continental Air Lines These days Virtual Airlines are coming and going faster than we all care to see. It is also obvious that we are not the only virtual portrayal of the real world Continental Airlines. So what makes us different from all the rest you ask? For starters, we are a family. Continental Virtual pilots can make their employment with us as realistic as possible by flying real world routes on time in correct aircraft, or as laid back as they want. Continental Virtual Airlines proudly endorse flights flown on VATSIM, IVAO, Virtual Skies, SimMiles, and XACARS as well. Our staff is friendly and knowledgeable and strives for complete Professionalism .Continental Virtual Airlines will always strive to provide our employees with the best there is to offer. In these fast times, things can be outdated and change in a heartbeat.Continental Virtual Airlines Pilot Requirements !
All pilots must be at least 13 years of age, have a Valid VATSIM ID , and are expected to do at least 3 flights per month to remain active with Continental Virtual Airline.Any member returning after being removed for inactivity will be on probation for 2 months (60 days). During that time, should the member not complete any of the Minimum Flight Requirements he or she will have their account terminated permanently with no chance of appeal.Continental Virtual currently does not allow its members to have multiple virtual airline memberships, except with partner Airlines. Through experience we have learned that pilots who have more than one membership have a tendency to forget minimum flight requirements for one airline or another and are rarely seen in the community. All new hires must complete their first flight within 7 days of being hired. Afterwards, all pilots are responsible to complete a minimum of 3 flights either on VATSIM or SimMiles that equal 5 + hours each month. Any pilot who does not complete the minimum flight requirements will receive a notice of inactivity. Following this, should the pilot not complete at least 1 flight within 7 days of the notice and fail to meet the minimum flight requirements in the next month their account will be terminated on the grounds of account inactivity. All of this information can be found in the Pilots Operations Handbook before you join.
